This introductory Level 1 Computing course is designed to provide you with the opportunity to develop key skills in the IT sector. Throughout the course, you will explore topics such as creating websites, developing digital information, and using IT to support your learning. You’ll build essential skills in areas like problem-solving, communication, research, and teamwork, all of which will support your progression to further study. You will also study the Level 1 Gateway Award in Cyber Security as part of the course. The course includes mandatory units such as Information Technology Systems, Creating Systems to Manage Information, Using Social Media in Business, Programming, IT Project Management, Cyber Security and Incident Management, and IT Service Delivery. Upon completion, you will be well-prepared to continue your studies and pursue opportunities in the IT industry.
