Preparing T Level Students for NHS Industry Placements

Prepareing for their upcoming NHS industry placements, Stanmore College’s T Level Business and Administration students welcomed Bambi Gami from London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust for a session on what to expect and how to get ready for the workplace.

Stanmore College kicked off its T Level celebrations with an industry placement induction session led by Bambi Gami, Apprenticeships and Widening Participation Lead at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.

Bambi met with the College’s Curriculum and Work Placement teams to explore opportunities for collaboration for students to access valuable industry experience.

She also delivered an informative session for T Level Business students, covering key aspects of NHS industry placements, including:

• The application process and compliance requirements
• Professional expectations and workplace standards
• Interview preparation and selection processes
• Future career opportunities within the NHS

The session helped students understand how to prepare for their placements and what to expect from the application process, with applications due to begin in the coming weeks.
