Vocational Study Programme
When you enrol at Stanmore College, you’ll join a programme designed to enhance your technical and professional skills. Our study programmes are tailored to your achievements and future goals, offering more than just a qualification. They include essential elements that prepare you for apprenticeships, university, or employment.
Key areas covered:
- English and Maths lessons (unless you already have GCSE grade 4 or above in these subjects).
- Tutorial lessons.
- Employability / Careers Support to help you with your UCAS applications and finding higher level courses and employment.
- Work placement with a relevant company.
- Enrichment opportunities including industry-led projects, national competitions or represent the Student Union.
To complete your qualification, you must pass all components of the programme. Former students have reported that universities and employers valued their in-depth knowledge and soft skills gained through work experience.
