In the Level 2 BTEC IT and Computing course, you will study a total of six units, including key areas such as The Online World, Technology Systems, Digital Portfolio, Database Development, Website Development, and Creating Digital Animation. Throughout the course, you’ll also complete a work placement, providing valuable hands-on experience. The course includes two mandatory and external units. The mandatory units cover topics like Information Technology Systems and Creating Systems to Manage Information, alongside other areas such as using social media in business, programming, IT project management, cyber security, incident management, and IT service delivery. This course is designed to give you a well-rounded understanding of IT and computing, preparing you for further study or a career in the field.

Entry Requirements
You will need 4 GCSEs, including English and maths at Grade 2 or above. We will also consider equivalent qualifications. -
