The AAT Bookkeeping Certificate Level 2 course will help you develop key bookkeeping skills that are essential for working in finance. You will learn how to record financial transactions, manage ledgers, and understand essential bookkeeping principles.
The course covers:
- Understanding bookkeeping transactions
- Processing invoices and payments
- Using bookkeeping software
- Reconciling bank statements
- Understanding financial documents
This course is ideal for you if you’re looking to start a career in finance, improve your bookkeeping skills, or gain a recognised qualification to enhance your job prospects. Bookkeeping is a valuable in-demand skill for businesses of all sizes.
Upon completion of this course you can progress to study the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting. You will also be able to apply for jobs in finance, such as bookkeeper, accounts assistant, or finance administrator. With more experience you can move towards becoming an accountant or payroll officer.

£958.00 (includes subsidised material costs and exams setup)
Concessions:
Fees can be waived or subsidised if you meet the eligibility criteria for funding. (As this varies and depends on individual circumstances, a full fee assessment will be done to confirm your eligibility at the time of enrolment. If you need this information in advance, please contact us.)
Other Fees:
AAT registration fees* (registration must be completed within 6 weeks of enrolling)
AAT re-exam fees (in case of re-set, first sitting of the exam is free).
* Registration fee can be reimbursed if you enrol on the AAT Accounting Certificate Level 2 after successful completion Level 2 Bookkeeping. (Proof of payment will be required).
