The Early Years Practitioner NCFE Diploma Level 2 prepares you for a career in early years settings. This includes working in nurseries, schools, or working as a childminder.
During this course, you’ll learn to support children’s development from birth to age 5. The focus is to learn about their health, safety, and emotional wellbeing. Key topics include child development, promoting positive relationships, and health and safety practices. The course combines theory with practical experience in early years settings, where you’ll be able to apply your knowledge in a real-world environment.
When you complete this course you will be ready to work as an Early Years Practitioner. This could be as an assistant in pre-schools, children’s centres, day nurseries, nursery schools, or as an assistant in nursery classes.
