Early Years
Studying an Early Years course is an enriching opportunity for anyone passionate about shaping young lives. Our courses equip you with essential skills and knowledge to support children’s development from birth to age five, focusing on their physical, emotional, and cognitive growth. You’ll gain essential skills in child psychology, effective communication, and play based learning to create engaging, supportive environments for children. In Level 2 and 3 courses, you’ll combine theory with hands on practice through work placements in local day nurseries, children’s centres, and schools. Stanmore College has an excellent reputation and close partnerships with the Local Authority, the NHS, local nurseries, and other key providers.
You can prepare for a variety of careers with children in Care and Education. Whether you aim to work in nurseries, preschools, or as a childminder, this qualification opens the door to a rewarding career in early childhood education.
