The Science and Engineering Introductory BTEC Diploma Level 1 is a vocational studies course to understand the combination of scientific principles and technology basics.
The course is a skills-based qualification, designed to help you develop essential skills to progress to further study by focusing on the development of transferable and sector-related skills. Transferable skills include research and planning, time management and teamwork. Sector specific skills include use of laboratory apparatus, research, measurements, planned experiments, and other practical exercises.
We aim to ensure that delivery is practical, active, contextualised and skills based. Here are some example units that show the variety of learning on this course:
