Students Build Confidence at Mock Interview Workshop

Students from our Personal Social Development and Employability ASDAN courses took part in a successful Mock Interview Workshop, gaining valuable experience and developing the confidence and skills needed for future employment.

Students approached the interview process with professionalism and confidence, fully engaging in the workshop throughout the day. The session gave learners the chance to practise interview techniques in a realistic environment while strengthening key communication and employability skills.

Many students responded to interview questions with confidence and demonstrated a growing understanding of workplace expectations. Their ongoing work experience placements have played a key role in developing this confidence, allowing them to draw on real examples and experiences during the interviews. Students spoke thoughtfully about teamwork, communication, responsibility, and the practical skills they have gained through their placements, reinforcing the value of hands-on experience in preparing young people for employment.

Special thanks go to Michael Crosdale and the dedicated Learning Support Assistants, whose continued guidance and encouragement helped students prepare for the workplace with confidence. Their support has been instrumental in helping learners strengthen their communication skills, build self-belief, and recognise their potential.

The workshop reflected our ongoing commitment to helping students develop the confidence, professionalism, and employability skills needed for future success and independent living.
