The T Level Media – Content Creation Production and Broadcast provides you with the knowledge and practical skills needed for a career in the Creative and Media Industry. The course has been split into the core component and the subject specialism area of content creation and production.

This specialism is ideal if you are interested in developing practical skills for a future in media, marketing, journalism, or any creative industry where producing high-quality, audience-focused content is key to success. You’ll learn about the creative economy, the role of the individual within the industry, and the cultural context and vocabulary used in creative work. You’ll study how to identify and engage with audiences, as well as the legislation and regulations that govern the sector.

Professionalism, ethics, equality, diversity, and inclusion are key themes, helping you to work responsibly and respectfully. Additionally, you’ll build essential research skills, learn about project methodology and administration. You’ll develop the skills to create and deliver engaging material tailored to a variety of audiences, how to evaluate project plans and final content, helping you to meet professional standards.

This qualification prepares you for employment in roles in media, TV, radio, camera, content creation, social media, and producer.

You will also have the opportunity to go on educational research trips and participate in enrichment activities.

Progression

You can progress to further study, apply for an apprenticeship, or enter employment.
