The Level 3 Creative Media Production UAL qualification in Games Design and Animation is ideal if you have a passion for the creative media industry, particularly in games, animation, and visual effects. You will explore a range of essential topics in game development, including level design, character development, object design, and game mechanics. Throughout the course, you’ll work with industry-standard equipment such as HD cameras, sound recording equipment, gaming PCs, DSLR cameras, and software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate, Construct, and Blender. You will also study the work of media practitioners and learn about media codes and conventions, as well as how to analyse media products, producers, and audiences. On completion, you will achieve an Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production, preparing you for further study or a career in the creative media industry.
