The Creative Media Production Games Design and Animation UAL Diploma (and Extended Diploma) Level 3 is ideal if you have a passion for the creative media industry, particularly in games, animation, and visual effects.

You’ll explore a range of essential topics in game development, including level design, character development, object design, and game mechanics. You’ll also work with industry-standard equipment such as HD cameras, sound recording equipment, gaming PCs, DSLR cameras, and software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate, Construct, and Blender. You’ll also study the work of media practitioners and learn about media codes and conventions, as well as how to analyse media products, producers, and audiences.

Upon completion you’ll achieve an Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production, preparing you for further study or a career in the creative media industry.

This qualification is officially the UAL Awarding Body Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology: Games Design and Animation.
