The Creative Media Production Games Design and Animation UAL Diploma (and Extended Diploma) Level 3 is ideal if you have a passion for the creative media industry, particularly in Games Design or Animation.
This course covers a range of essential topics in digital games and animation, including level design, character development, hand-drawn animation, video editing, and game mechanics. Through practical projects, you’ll gain experience using industry-standard equipment such as high-spec gaming PCs, DSLR cameras, audio recording equipment, and professional software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate, Construct, and Blender.
The programme also explores the work of professionals within the games industry, giving you an insight into current practices and helping you develop the knowledge and skills needed to begin a career in the sector. There will be opportunities to gain experience with employers such as Harrow TV, Stanmore Studios, Myamada, and other employers.
Upon completion you’ll achieve an Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production, preparing you for further study or a career in the creative media industry. The course can lead to a degree, work, or other training options within Media.
This course if officially the UAL Awarding Body Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology: Creative Media.
