The Creative Media Production and Technology UAL Diploma (and Extended Diploma) Level 3 course is for you if you have an interest in the creative media industry. The course is diverse offering study in multiple areas including: print and publishing, website design, journalism, and video production. The course is mostly practical, with some theoretical analysis.
In the first year you’ll learn to plan and produce your ideas using industry standard processes and software. You’ll learn about fundamentals of video production, magazine design, website production practical techniques, study social campaigns, and create effective marketing materials.
There is a focus on developing critical thinking skills and audience requirements. In addition you’ll have the chance to work to live briefs from external clients and develop a strong portfolio that will help you progress to university or employment.
Upon completion you will achieve an Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production.
This course if officially the UAL Awarding Body Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production and Technology: Creative Media.

4 GCSE’s at grade 4 or above. English and Maths are desirable.
A portfolio or evidence of creative work is essential.

Mainly coursework internally assessed and externally moderated.
