The T Level Engineering – Design and Development for Engineering and Manufacturing prepares you with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed for a career in the engineering and manufacturing industry.
You will study core topics such as engineering principles, design processes, materials science, and digital technologies. You will gaining an in-depth understanding of how products are developed and manufactured. The course also covers essential aspects such as health and safety, project management, and the role of sustainability in modern engineering.
A key component is the industry placement, where you will apply your learning in a real working environment, developing hands-on experience in design and development tasks. You will also specialise in an occupational area, refining your technical skills to prepare you for employment, further study in engineering and manufacturing, or apprenticeships.
