Science students visit University College London laboratories

Stanmore level 3 Applied Science students were delighted to accompany their teachers on a visit to the laboratories at the University College London (UCL). UCL, London’s Global University has been awarded University of the Year by the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide. As such Stanmore College was keen to ensure that the College’s Science students had an opportunity to experience and visit the university first hand and receive face to face information from leading academics and staff, see the world-class resources available and interact with visionary staff and students.

Trips such as this serve not just to inspire and motivate students about their specialist subjects but to learn of enhanced career prospects of graduates along with ambitious work and recent breakthroughs. All of this assists students in determining the path they wish to follow post their level 3 science study programme at Stanmore College.
