The purpose of this qualification is to allow learners to demonstrate understanding of, and competency in, the essential digital skills they need for life. It will enable learners to engage with digital services and products in everyday life.

The qualification is aimed at learners wishing to develop an understanding of basic photographic processes and will also allow learners to understand how to manipulate images. The qualification aims to support learners to progress either into employment or onto further qualifications
