“I’m studying the UAL Creative Practice Level 3 Art and Design course, along with an Extended Project Qualification, which I’m really enjoying. I chose Stanmore College because it’s the most convenient location for me, but also because of the amazing facilities in the Art department. They’ve given me the chance to work with new mediums and equipment I hadn’t used before. When I attended the open days, I felt like it was the right fit for me. The smaller class sizes mean I get more one-on-one time with my teachers, which really helps. Overall, the course is going well. I get to spend more time doing what I love, art, and I’m building a strong portfolio to help me get into my chosen university. My goal is to study at a UAL university, and since Stanmore runs UAL courses, they’re closely connected to those universities. We even get visits from specialist course speakers who share valuable advice. It’s a great College, and I’m glad I chose it!”

I chose Stanmore College because it was the only local option offering T Levels, and I’m so glad I did, the course has been a great experience. I really benefited from the work experience on my course, as it allowed me to apply what I’d learned in class directly in the workplace. I’ve now secured an apprenticeship in a nursery and I’m really excited about continuing on the combined work-and-study path.

Studying the Level 3 UAL Extended Diploma in Game Design and Animation at Stanmore College was an amazing experience. I had fantastic teachers who always went the extra mile to support me. Through my media projects, I was able to develop a wide range of skills that I know will be invaluable in the industry, giving me the confidence and experience I need to take the next step in my career.

Studying the Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Business at Stanmore College was a really positive experience. I always felt valued at the College, and the support I received helped me grow both personally and academically. I remain involved in College events, which keeps me connected to the community and inspired as I continue my journey.

Studying the Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in IT at Stanmore College was an incredible experience. The tutors provided continuous guidance and encouragement, especially during my work experience, which gave me the chance to apply what I had learned in a real-world setting. This practical experience was invaluable, helping me build confidence, develop professional skills, and gain insight into the IT industry. Thanks to this guidance and the opportunities I received, I was able to secure an apprenticeship with Barclays Bank, an exciting next step in my career journey!

I found that the work I did at Stanmore College, along with my work placement, not only helped me achieve my Level 3 Childcare qualification, it also prepared me really well for university. The combination of practical experience and classroom learning gave me the confidence and skills I needed to take the next step in my studies.

I really enjoyed the wide variety of units on my course, and I was very pleased with my results. Studying the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma at Stanmore College gave me the knowledge and skills I needed to progress confidently to university. I’m went on to study a degree in Pharmaceutical Science at Middlesex University, and I was well prepared for this, thanks to the support and learning I received at Stanmore College.

I chose Stanmore College because it was the only one offering T Levels in Early Years, and it was the perfect choice for me. The course offered me deeper content and a much wider experience when it came to experiencing exams. With five different types of exams on the course, I felt that experiencing this range would help me be better prepared for university, where I aim to complete my Level 6 qualification. My vision is to become a room leader, work my way up, and eventually open my own nursery. I am proud to have a scholarship waiting for me, and I really excited about what the future holds.

The course gave me the chance to experience real workplaces while still learning in the classroom, and that balance made all the difference to my confidence and career direction. The biggest advantage of the course for me was definitely the work experience. I had the chance to work in both a recruitment firm and a secondary school, which gave me valuable insight into two very different sectors. These opportunities not only helped me build skills but also gave me a clearer understanding of how the world of work operates and what might suit me best in the future.
