The course gave me the qualification I needed to move forward in my career, and I now feel confident in my job as a teaching assistant. “I chose Stanmore College because it was one of the few colleges offering Access Courses for individuals over 18 and was the only one willing to accommodate my late enrolment. The supportive teachers and excellent course, even during the challenges of COVID-19, played a key role in my success. My time at Stanmore built my confidence, strengthened my skills in mathematics, engineering, and IT, and prepared me for university. After completing my Access Course, I received a scholarship to study Mechanical Engineering at Queen Mary University of London, where I will graduate in summer 2024.
