“I chose Stanmore College because it was one of the few colleges offering Access Courses for individuals over 18 and was the only one willing to accommodate my late enrolment. The supportive teachers and excellent course, even during the challenges of COVID-19, played a key role in my success. My time at Stanmore built my confidence, strengthened my skills in mathematics, engineering, and IT, and prepared me for university. After completing my Access Course, I received a scholarship to study Mechanical Engineering at Queen Mary University of London, where I will graduate in summer 2024. I’m incredibly grateful to Stanmore College for shaping my future and helping me achieve my goals.”

“I’m studying the UAL Creative Practice Level 3 Art and Design course, along with an Extended Project Qualification, which I’m really enjoying. I chose Stanmore College because it’s the most convenient location for me, but also because of the amazing facilities in the Art department. They’ve given me the chance to work with new mediums and equipment I hadn’t used before. When I attended the open days, I felt like it was the right fit for me. The smaller class sizes mean I get more one-on-one time with my teachers, which really helps. Overall, the course is going well. I get to spend more time doing what I love, art, and I’m building a strong portfolio to help me get into my chosen university. My goal is to study at a UAL university, and since Stanmore runs UAL courses, they’re closely connected to those universities. We even get visits from specialist course speakers who share valuable advice. It’s a great College, and I’m glad I chose it!”

I chose Stanmore College because it was the only local option offering T Levels, and I’m so glad I did, the course has been a great experience. I really benefited from the work experience on my course, as it allowed me to apply what I’d learned in class directly in the workplace. I’ve now secured an apprenticeship in a nursery and I’m really excited about continuing on the combined work-and-study path.

Studying the Level 3 UAL Extended Diploma in Game Design and Animation at Stanmore College was an amazing experience. I had fantastic teachers who always went the extra mile to support me. Through my media projects, I was able to develop a wide range of skills that I know will be invaluable in the industry, giving me the confidence and experience I need to take the next step in my career.
