Assessment
You will be assessed by a mix of assessing learning in the workplace, formal off the job training and the opportunity to practice and embed new skills in a real work context. This broader mix differentiates the Apprenticeship experience from training delivered to meet narrowly focused job needs. The qualification will be pass or refer and all the assessment criteria for the chosen units must be achieved in order to obtain a pass.
All units will be internally assessed using a range of methods. This could include direct observation within the workplace, a portfolio of evidence, written assignments or a task set by us. The learning outcomes for some of the units in this qualification must be assessed in a Real Work Environment.
Exams for functional skills in English, maths and ICT
