Variable Hours Lecturer - Business

(With immediate start until 4th July 2020)

We are looking for a Variable Hours Lecturer to teach across a range of vocational Business courses at Levels 1 and 3.

A relevant degree or professional qualification is required. Applicants without any qualifications but with substantial experience teaching their subject area may be considered. An appropriate teaching qualification or commitment to obtaining the qualification within the specified time period.

Salary

£20.62 - £32.13 per hour

Learning Support Assistant - Bank

(Ad hoc, Term time only)

Do you want to provide learning support and welfare for students who have a disability and/or a learning difficulty?

If so, Stanmore College has a great opportunity for you to join the Inclusion team to assist the Inclusion Manager to develop a suitable programme of support and carry out the programme within the classroom or in a withdrawal situation. Building relationships with students who have additional needs to help them overcome barriers to learning and supporting them to maximise their learning potential would also be an important aspect of the role.

You will have a minimum of one year’s experience of supporting post-16 or secondary school students and a Level 3 qualification. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and good IT skills.

Salary

£11.40 per hour, term-time only

Curriculum Manager – IT & Engineering

We are looking for a Curriculum Manager in IT & Engineering to provide operational leadership and taking responsibility for the delivery of the College’s strategic objectives, curriculum delivery, quality assurance and the evaluation of their defined study curriculum area and line management of those staff with the potential to develop your management skills.

You must be enthusiastic and highly motivated, have a flexible approach to work and be able to work as a member of team.

Applicants must have a relevant degree, a full teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed/DTLLS) and an Internal Verifier Award. Recent experience of teaching the relevant subject in a school, FE college or adult learning institution is essential.

Salary

Band J - K, points 36 – 38, £38,600 - £40,640 per annum

Data and reporting analyst

(36 hours per week, through the year)

Stanmore College has a great opportunity for you to develop and maintain the College database, produce self-service and ad-hoc reports, and participate in the development of new systems in response to business needs and technical requirements. You will support Curriculum Areas, Business Support, Management and other college areas to manage, analyse and report data accurately.

The post holder will be expected to carry out day to day tasks with the minimum of supervision and be proactive in developing the role.

Salary

Band F - G, points 17 – 24, £23,439 - £28,099 per annum
