Lecturer in Engineering

(Full time, 36 hours per week, through the year)

We are looking for a Lecturer to teach on our Engineering courses, including delivering units which are both theoretical and practical based on a range of courses; BTEC levels 1, 2 and 3 and Access to HE Engineering. It would be advantageous to have the ability to deliver aspects of electrical and mechanical engineering units such as electrical and electronic principles, mechanical principles, further mathematics for engineering technicians, Further Mathematics for Engineering Technicians, Engineering Drawing for Technicians, Principles and Applications of Electronic Devices and Circuits and to be familiar with CAD software (i.e. AutoCAD).

A relevant degree or professional qualification is required. Applicants without any qualifications but with substantial experience teaching their subject area may be considered. An appropriate teaching qualification or commitment to obtaining the qualification within the specified time period.

Curriculum Manager English

(Full time, 36 hours per week, through the year)

We are looking for a Curriculum Manager in English to provide operational leadership and taking responsibility for the delivery of the College’s strategic objectives, curriculum delivery, quality assurance and the evaluation of their defined study curriculum area and line management of those staff with the potential to develop your management skills.

You must be enthusiastic and highly motivated, have a flexible approach to work and be able to work as a member of team.

Applicants must have a relevant degree, a full teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed/DTLLS) and an Internal Verifier Award. Recent experience of teaching the relevant subject in a school, FE college or adult learning institution is essential.
