Variable Hours Lecturer

We are looking for Variable Hours Lecturers to support the learning of students in scheduled classes and to undertake related professional duties in the following areas:

  • Lecturer in Accounting
  • Lecturer in Maths

  • Early Years
  • Health and Social Care
  • Sports
  • Games Animation
  • Business

A relevant degree or professional qualification is required. Applicants without any qualifications but with substantial experience teaching their subject area may be considered. An appropriate teaching qualification or commitment to obtaining the qualification within the specified time period.

Salary

£24.18 - £37.68 per hour

We are looking for a Variable Hours Lecturer - Early Years to teach and assess on our Early Years (CACHE Levels 1, 2 & 3 Childcare) 16 -- 18 and adult programmes.

You must be enthusiastic and highly motivated, have a flexible approach to work and be able to work as a member of team.

Applicants must have a relevant degree and a full teaching qualification or be completing a PGCE/Cert Ed/DTLLS this academic year. Recent experience of teaching the relevant subject in a school, FE college or adult learning institution is essential.

Apprentice IT Technician (L3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship Standard)

36 hours per week, full year

Stanmore College are looking for an Apprentice IT Technician to work in its busy Technical Services team. The College is increasingly dependent on its IT systems working properly and efficiently. We are looking for a candidate who has a keen interest in IT systems and is good at managing their time in the face of changing priorities.

As part of the role, you will undertake a training for the Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship Standard (Networking and Architecture, Mobile and Operating Systems & Security, Cloud Services, Coding and Logic, Business Processes).
