Finance Assistant

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to provide financial support to the Finance Department. You will have GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above. Full Level 3 qualification (A levels, BTEC National) or an accountancy qualification and will have excellent written, oral communication and good IT skills. There is an opportunity to study for accounting qualification.

Salary: Band E, points 13 - 16, £21,312 - £23,319 per annum

We are looking for Variable Hours Lecturer – Goal Keeping Coach to support the learning of students in scheduled classes and to undertake related professional duties.

A relevant degree or professional qualification is required. Applicants without any qualifications but with substantial experience teaching their subject area may be considered. An appropriate teaching qualification or commitment to obtaining the qualification within the specified time period.

This position will be based at Rayners Lane.

Salary: £20.20 per hour

Stanmore College has a great opportunity for you to provide Information, Advice and Guidance to both young learners, aged 16 – 19, and adults. You will provide accurate and up-to-date information and advice on courses, jobs, apprenticeships and careers, both face to face and on the telephone to include in-depth one to one interviews as required

You will have experience of providing advice, support and guidance to 16-19 year olds or to adults in 1 to 1 and in group settings plus a relevant qualification at level 3 or above and an IAG qualification at Level 6.

Salary: Band G, points 21 – 24, £26,624 - £28,664 per annum

Learning Support Manager

(36 hours per week, all year)

We are looking for a Learning Support Manager to work with the Director of Student Services to develop all aspects of learning support services. The role will involve taking overall management responsibility for the implementation and quality assurance of learning support and High Needs bespoke learning provision across the College.

You will have extensive experience in supporting/assessment of students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities, successful experience of managing learning support that positively impacts upon student retention and achievement and experience of managing ALS funding claims and allocating resources within the ALS budget.

You will be qualifies to Degree level and preferably have a full teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert.Ed or similar) or working towards an equivalent qualification. Excellent collaborating cross college staff is essential, you must have good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills combined with a professional attitude to work.

Salary : Band I, points 30 – 35 - £33,641 - £38,313 per annum

Do you want to provide learning support and welfare for students who have a disability and/or a learning difficulty?

If so, Stanmore College has a great opportunity for you to join the Learning Support team to assist the Learning Support Manager to develop a suitable programme of support and carry out the programme within the classroom or in a withdrawal situation. Building relationships with students who have additional needs to help them overcome barriers to learning and supporting them to maximise their learning potential would also be an important aspect of the role.

You will have a minimum of one year’s experience of supporting post-16 or secondary school students and a Level 3 qualification. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills and good IT skills.

Salary : £11.52 per hour, part time, term time only

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Learning Centre Manager to lead our Learning Resources, Study Centre and Social Learning Centre and staff teams. You must have experience of leading and managing or supervising the delivery of front-line services as set out above working with electronic library and database systems and or managing /coordinating Independent learning study skills programme, Diagnostic Testing including English, Maths & Digital skills. You will be highly organised and experienced working with young people and adults.

You will need a relevant degree and preferably a Library and Information Services qualification and/or a full teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert.Ed or similar) or working towards one.
