Your Safety is Our Priority
At Stanmore College, we prioritise the safety and wellbeing of all students, including young people and vulnerable adults, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, disability, language, faith, or sexual orientation. Our commitment to safeguarding encompasses both child protection and a proactive approach to maintaining a secure environment.
Safeguarding at our College includes

- Security measures.
- Support for students with medical conditions.
- Protection from drugs and substance abuse.
- The Prevent Duty to safeguard learners from extremism.
Commitment to Student Safety and Wellbeing
All staff are subject to Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) checks and staff are trained on how to support and help keep students safe. Stanmore College is closely linked with the Harrow Local Safeguarding Children’s Board and the Harrow Prevent Team.
Multi-Faith Rooms
We offer multi-faith rooms to accommodate and respect the diverse spiritual needs of our students, providing a quiet space for reflection and prayer.
Operation Encompass
Operation Encompass is a police and education early information-sharing partnership enabling immediate support to children who have experienced domestic abuse.
We are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for everyone.
