Kartik Shah's Accounting Career Success

Kartik Shah, came to the college to speak to current accounting students.

The students were keen to hear that he had become the director of his accountancy practice, Kajaine Accountants, based in Edgware, at the age of 36.

Kartik shared his knowledge on opportunities available for our students, such as apprenticeships, further education accounting courses and internships.

 

 

 

He had attended a state school and later progressed to college followed by university where he studied a degree in engineering with business finance at University College London (UCL).

Kartik undertook his accountancy training with Price Waterhouse Cooper (PwC) in London on completion of which he qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010. He then became a co-director of Kajaine Accountants and now enjoys all the benefits of this role due to his hard work.

 

Kartik’s top tips for CV tips are:

Making sure that your grammar and punctuation are correct.

The more experience you have the better.
