The IT and Computing BTEC Level 3 course is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and training to become an IT specialist. It provides an opportunity to enter employment in the IT sector or progress to higher qualifications.

You will develop a range of essential skills and techniques, alongside personal attributes necessary for success in your career as an IT professional. The curriculum is carefully structured to offer a solid grounding in a wide range of computing and IT applications, ensuring you gain a comprehensive understanding of how IT is used in modern society.

The mandatory units of the course will cover key areas such as Information technology systems, creating systems to manage information, using social media in business, programming, IT project management, cyber security, incident management, and IT service delivery. After this course you may decide to specialise in areas such as web design, computer programming, graphics, or e-commerce.

This course will help you build a broad skillset that is highly valued by employers in the IT industry.
