The Health and Social Care NCFE Cache Extended Diploma Level 2 provides essential knowledge and practical skills to work in the Health and Social Care sector.

Throughout the course you’ll gain an understanding of the principles of the industry. You will cover key topics such as effective communication in care settings, health and safety practices, safeguarding and protecting individuals, and working in partnership with others in the sector. You will also gain insights into supporting individuals with specific care needs.

This course is designed to prepare you for a variety of roles within the sector, giving you the skills needed to support children, young people, vulnerable adults, and the elderly. Upon completion, you’ll be ready to go into employment or pursue further study to prepare you for social work, nursing and other professions allied to health and medical care.
