The T Level Technical Qualification in Health and Social Care (Health) provides you with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue a career in the healthcare sector. You will study key topics such as the principles of good scientific and clinical practice, the healthcare sector and its regulations, and the importance of person-centred care. The course covers infection prevention and control, safeguarding, managing data and digital technologies in healthcare, as well as the science behind health conditions and treatments. You will also complete a substantial industry placement, allowing you to gain hands-on experience in a real healthcare setting. The occupational specialism enables you to develop the technical skills required for specific roles within the sector, preparing you for employment, higher education, or further training in health-related professions.
