The T Level Health and Social Care – Health provides you with the knowledge and skills you require to pursue a career in the healthcare sector.
You will study key topics such as the principles of good scientific and clinical practice, the healthcare sector and its regulations, and the importance of person-centred care. The course covers infection prevention and control, safeguarding, managing data and digital technologies in healthcare, as well as the science behind health conditions and treatments.
You will also complete a substantial industry placement, allowing you to gain hands-on experience in a real healthcare setting. The occupational specialism enables you to develop the technical skills required for specific roles within the sector. This will prepare you for further study, employment, or more training in the health-related professions.

You can progress to Level 4 qualification, further study, employment, or apply for an apprenticeship.
- Entry Requirements
Level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English, Maths, and Science - Assessment
Written examinations.
Employer-set project (ESP).
Case study, practical activity assessments, and professional discussion. - Work Experience
A minimum of 315 hours of industry placement with an employer is required for this course.
