Course Content

OCR Level 2 Cambridge Technical Certificate in Business

 The Technicals qualifications in Business Administration introduces students to key aspects of the role of a business administrator. Students develop relevant business and transferable skills through hands-on experience, preparing them for further study or the world of work and it will lead to a smooth transition on Level 3 T levels.

For learners who are on a 16–19 study programme

This qualification contains the following optional units:
3 Use social media for business purposes
4 Provide administrative support
5 Follow administrative practices and create procedures
6 Communicate in a business environment
7 Support the organisation of an event
There are no mandatory units

Course Outcomes

It enables learners to acquire a range of transferable skills and knowledge, which are highly regarded by employers.

Progression

The course is suitable for learners who want to progress into business administration-relate apprenticeships or want to progress into employment. It also prepares to do T levels.

Entry Requirements

The learners have, or are working towards, a grade 4/grade C or above in maths and English GCSEs and a grade 4 2 other GCSE subjects.

Assessment

All units are internally assessed.
