Centres should advise learners of any internal timescales for the completion and marking of individual assignments. 4.2 Assignments The assignment guide for this qualification is available to from www.nptc.org.uk. 4.3 Recognition of prior learning (RPL) Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) recognises the contribution a person’s previous experience could contribute to a qualification.
RPL is allowed and is also sector specific. 4.4 Resubmission of Assignments Where a learner has failed an assignment, they may resubmit their work once in order to try and achieve a Pass grade. Merit and Distinction grades may not be awarded to any resubmitted work.
