Successful Completion of Amazon Live Projects

T Level Business and Accounting students have successfully completed three weeks of live projects with Amazon, developing their skills through real-world business challenges and gaining valuable insight into the workplace.

Congratulations to our T Level Business and Accounting students on the successful completion of their three-week Amazon project.

Two live Business and Accounting projects with Amazon
Students worked on two live Business and Accounting projects with Amazon, demonstrating professionalism, commitment and resilience throughout. They took ownership of their work, worked collaboratively and responded to challenges with confidence.

Despite the recent heatwave and the demands of balancing project work with their studies, students remained focused and engaged. They researched, analysed and developed solutions before presenting their final reports.

The final submission took place on 3 July, marking the end of an exciting learning journey. Students reflected on the skills and knowledge they had developed, as well as their personal growth throughout the project. Many highlighted improvements in communication, teamwork, problem-solving, project management and professional confidence.

From classroom learning to real-world experience
Live projects like this give students the opportunity to apply their classroom learning to genuine business challenges. The experience helps them develop the practical and employability skills that employers value, while building confidence in their future career aspirations.

One group has also been successfully shortlisted for the next stage of the programme. They will compete against shortlisted teams from another cohort for a place in the final, with finalists due to be announced in October. Following their outstanding performance and commitment throughout the project, all students who took part in the three-week programme were invited to apply for an Amazon nine-week work placement. Several students have successfully secured a place, providing a fast-track opportunity to progress towards an Amazon apprenticeship starting in September 2027.

A huge thank you to the Amazon team for their mentorship, guidance and commitment to supporting our students. We would also like to recognise the excellent leadership of our Business Lecturer Dr Bin Chen, whose support helped make this opportunity such a success. We are incredibly proud of all the students for their hard work, dedication and achievements throughout the project.
