CONGRATULATIONS to another Year 11 Winner!

As mentioned in our communication announcing our first prospective student interview event winner, we firmly believe in looking after our students at Stanmore College, both before and after they officially join us. Some of you will be aware that all attendees of our interview events are entered into a prize draw for a great prize. The first winner was Ahmed Abbaker, a year 11 student at Michaela School, North London.

 

A huge congratulations to our second winner, Parisha Lakhman, a Claremont High School year 11 student who was also a lucky winner of a set of Apple AirPods Next Generation following her attendance a Stanmore College informative interview session. These sessions not only provide students with information about their chosen courses to ensure they are right for them but also provide reassurance by giving students conditional offers. Attendees have also told us they enjoy meeting staff and existing students, seeing the College which reduces anxiety about the future, and the prize draw is an unexpected perk!

Parisha has applied to study level 3 Applied Science at Stanmore College. She told us she applied to Stanmore College as she knows existing and former students who came to Stanmore and did well as a result.

 

We hope that Parisha and Ahmed enjoy their prizes and we look forward to having them and lots of other great new students join us at the start of the next academic year.

 

Of course, we also look forward to having our existing progressing students return to undertake the next level and we wish our leavers the very best of luck at university, in employment and apprenticeships and we hope they all stay in touch as alumni.
