The Education and Training NCFE Certificate Level 4 is a comprehensive qualification that deepens your understanding of teaching roles, responsibilities, and methods for delivering inclusive learning. This qualification is ideal for those currently teaching, just starting out, or considering a teaching role in the further education and skills sector.

The programme will help you understand roles and responsibilities within education. It will cover key topics so you can plan lessons, assess learners, use resources effectively, and meet individual learner needs effectively. You can choose optional units to help you tailor your focus and context.

The course is suitable for you if you are both, in-service as a teachers, or a pre-service candidate. The course requires you to fulfil a minimum of 30 hours of teaching practice, of which 3 hours will form part of your assessed observations. Upon completion, you will gain practical teaching skills and enhance your employability. You can also study further, such as the Level 5 Diploma in Teaching (Further Education and Skills).

The course is typically completed within two terms is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree. It is a suitable for you if you are looking to advance your teaching career and expand the educational environment options where you would like to work.
