The Sport Level 3 (ACTIVEIQ) course is a two-year Football Coaching pathway designed to equip you with a wide range of skills essential for success in the football and sports industry. This programme provides an excellent balance of classroom learning and practical experience, allowing you to grow both as a coach and a professional. Throughout the course, you’ll develop your knowledge and abilities in football coaching while exploring broader aspects of sports science, leadership, and management. As part of the programme, you’ll also complete the SLQ Level 3 Qualification in Sports Leadership, giving you the opportunity to enhance your coaching skills and gain experience coaching in various environments. This qualification, alongside the BTEC Level 3 Sport Extended Diploma, ensures you are well-prepared for a career in the sports industry or further study at a higher level. This pathway offers a dynamic and supportive environment to help you achieve your goals and make your mark in the world of sports.

Entry Requirements
You will need 4 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, preferably including English and Maths, though it is possible to study one GCSE alongside the course, ideally Maths. Alternatively, completing a Level 2 qualification in Sports Studies. -
Assessment
You will be assessed through a variety of engaging methods, including coursework, practical activities, individual and group presentations, and synoptic assessments. All assessments are internally evaluated to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter.
