Is a SEND pathway for you? Here are some insights to help you decide.
SEN / SEND: Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
You need specialised extra help. You may have a learning difficulty or disability and, as a result, you require extra help and support.
You have an EHCP. You have more complex needs and therefore you have an EHC Plan from the local council. The plan details the extra health, education, and social care support you require.
You are 16-24 years and have an EHCP. In addition to our SEND courses, you can also apply for other 16-18 courses that we offer. However eligibility for each SEND student application is determined individually, this is so we can help you get on the best course and path for your aims.
You are willing to take on work opportunities to experience work life. You will have the opportunity to go on educational trips, attend talks, and visit employers with opportunities to learn about work life.
You want the best possible education journey. Your individual needs and goals are at the heart of our programme. We offer personalised support and clear progression pathways that recognise and celebrate you, for your unique strengths and aspirations.

Support for Students with Additional Needs
Our SEND Department offers specialist learning support for students with additional needs, including specific learning difficulties (such as dyslexia), sensory impairments, and physical disabilities.
If you have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP), our SEND Learning Support Team will work closely with you to provide tailored assistance aligned with your plan.
