Level 2 BTEC IT

Course Content

You will study 6 units including: The Online World, Technology Systems, Digital Portfolio, Database Development, Website Development & Creating Digital Animation. You will also be required to complete a work placement as part of the course.

6 units of which 2 are mandatory and external.

Progression

Upon successful completion of this course, you will achieve a Level 2 First Certificate in Information and Creative Technology and can progress to Level 3 courses.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must have the following qualifications: 4 GCSEs including either English and maths at Grade 2 or above. We will consider equivalent qualifications.

Assessment is specifically designed to fit the purpose and objective of the qualification. It includes a range of assessment types and styles suited to vocational qualifications in the sector. 2 exams & 4 course works/ portfolio evidence
