The Health and Social Care NCFE Extended Diploma Level 3 helps you develop advanced skills and knowledge needed to work in the Health and Social Care sector.

This course will cover key areas such as understanding the role of a care worker, effective communication, health and safety, equality and diversity, person-centred care, safeguarding, and supporting mental health. The course also includes the study of human development, promoting health and wellbeing, and care planning.

You’ll gain practical experience in care settings, putting theory into practice. You will acquire the skills to support individuals and meet their care needs effectively. You could work in roles such as care assistant, support worker, or health care assistant. This course will prepare you for a career in Health and Social Care or for further study.
