Course Content
The GCSE Retake Package is designed for students who may wish to improve their existing grades and study additional subjects. This is a demanding course which will allow students to enhance their knowledge and skills in the chosen subjects. It will also well equip students for study at level 3, whether it be BTEC or Access or A Level.
If you didn't get the GCSE results you wanted and still want to take A Levels in the future, this is the course for you.
This one year intensive course covers 4 GCSEs in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Maths
- Double Science
Course Outcomes
The purpose of these qualifications is to provide learners with the underpinning skills and knowledge required to progress to further study for careers in science, computing, engineering or business.
Progression
Level 3 courses within further or higher education, such as Access to HE Diplomas or BTEC Extended Diplomas.
Entry Requirements
5 GCSE’s grade 9 - 3 (A* - D) with a minimum of 2 grade 4’s (C's), in any of the GCSE subjects we offer.
Assessment
Combination of coursework throughout the year and external examinations at the end of the year.
Equipment
Basic stationery and revision books.
