The Women’s Hairdressing NVQ Diploma Level 2 at Salon Hijab Academy is a fully accredited course, and all classes are located at the salon which is based in Colindale.

This course is perfect for you if you are passionate about hairdressing. Whether you’re looking to start a career in a fast-growing industry or looking to enhance your existing skills, you will gain hands-on, industry-relevant training in a short time frame. The qualification opens doors to various career paths, such as working in salons, starting your own business, or becoming a freelance stylist.

The course is designed to equip you with the fundamental skills and techniques needed to work as a professional hairdresser. It offers both practical and theoretical training, preparing you to be able to deliver high-quality hair services in a salon or freelance setting. The main modules are:

Cutting:
Learn the core techniques of hair cutting, including basic styles and advanced cutting methods for various hair types. 

Colouring:
Gain skills in hair colouring, including application techniques, colour mixing, and creating custom shades to meet client needs. 

Styling:
Master various hair styling techniques such as blow-drying, curling, straightening, and creating updos for different occasions.
