Football Academy Partnership with Brentford FC Community Sports Trust
Students with a passion for football will benefit from an exciting new partnership with Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, bringing professional coaching together with outstanding education through our growing Post-16 Football Academy.
Our Post-16 Football Academy is set to reach new heights following an exciting new partnership with Brentford FC Community Sports Trust. The collaboration will give students the opportunity to develop their football skills through professional coaching while studying towards qualifications that prepare them for their future careers.
The partnership brings together high-quality education with the Trust’s established football development programme, creating an environment where students can thrive both academically and on the pitch.
As part of the partnership, Brentford FC Community Sports Trust will deliver professional football coaching and skills development, helping students improve their technical ability, teamwork, confidence and performance throughout their time at College.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to creating opportunities for young people and supporting them to achieve their goals in education, sport and beyond.
Ramandeep Dole, Senior Manager, School and Post-16 Football at Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, said:
“This partnership is about creating opportunities for young people. By combining Stanmore College’s education with Brentford FC Community Sports Trust’s football programme, we can offer students an environment where they can succeed both in the classroom and on the pitch. We are excited to see the programme grow over the coming years.”
Angela Jackson, our Deputy Principal, said:
“This partnership with Brentford FC Community Sports Trust reflects our commitment to providing students with opportunities that enrich their education and support their future aspirations. By combining high-quality football skills development with career-focused learning, students will be able to develop their sporting potential while gaining the knowledge, skills and qualifications they need to succeed beyond college. We look forward to working together to grow the Football Academy and create positive outcomes for our students.”
Brentford FC Community Sports Trust launched its Post-16 Football and Education programme in 2014 and has since expanded to include multiple boys’ and girls’ squads for a range of playing abilities. In September 2025, the Trust also introduced its Post-16 College Academy for boys with high potential.
Built on strong partnerships with education providers, the Trust’s programmes place students’ education at the heart of everything they do, promoting a positive and professional attitude that supports success both in the classroom and in football.
This partnership marks an exciting opportunity to further strengthen our Football Academy, giving students access to expert coaching while gaining the knowledge, skills and qualifications to progress into higher education, employment or a career in sport.
