The ceremony took place at the Bloomsbury Ballroom in London on 27 April, bringing together leading institutions from across the UK to celebrate excellence in accountancy education and training. The award was ultimately presented to the University of Liverpool, but Stanmore College’s place on the shortlist marks a significant achievement.
Course Lead for Accounting, Sharona Harrigan, attended the event alongside Work Experience and Industry Team Leader Ruhina Mehdi. Reflecting on the recognition, Sharona said:
“Being shortlisted for such a national award is a fantastic achievement for Stanmore College. It reflects the dedication of our staff and the determination of our students to succeed in the field of accountancy.
