The Sports NCFE Level 2 course will allow you to develop practical and work-based skills around sport.
The course is your opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of sport while gaining related introductory and transferrable skills to start or progress in the sports sector. The course covers units where you will be able to develop knowledge and skills in sports, fitness and coaching.
Additionally, you will have the option to complete two courses, and in doing so, you will achieve the knowledge and experience you need to be a career ready professional.
- NCFE Level 2 Diploma in sport.
- SLQ Level 2 in sports leadership.
Course Content:
- Sports coaching.
- Developing sporting skills and tactical awareness.
- Introduction to health and nutrition.
- Plan, deliver and evaluate an activity session.
- Participating in sport.
- Anatomy and physiology for exercise.
- Lifestyle of the sports performer.
You will also have the opportunity to further develop on your coaching skills and knowledge of health by completing Coaching and Improving Health NCFE Level 2 NCFE.

- Entry Requirements
2 GCSEs at grades 3 or above, including English.
