Student Services
At Stanmore College, we’re committed to ensuring you have the support you need to succeed academically, personally, and professionally. Whether it’s coursework, career planning, or personal challenges, our dedicated teams are here to help you achieve your goals.
Support and Advice Teams

Our experienced staff support you with safeguarding, mental health, welfare, bursaries, enrichment and careers advice.
You will also have access to a student adviser and designated teacher, progress coaches, study coaches and learning resource advisers who will support you throughout your time at the college.
Support for Students with Additional Needs (SEND)

Our SEND Department offers specialist learning support for students with additional needs, including specific learning difficulties (such as dyslexia), sensory impairments, and physical disabilities.
If you have an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP), our SEND Learning Support Team will work closely with you to provide tailored assistance aligned with your plan. More SEND information and courses is available on our SEND Department page.
If you have specific questions for the SEND Department, please contact us or email:
Wellbeing Support

Confidential counselling and one-off support sessions are available when you need them.
If you have a diagnosed mental health condition, we will work with you to put the right support in place so you can stay on track. We also work with local mental health services to make sure you can access external support where appropriate.
