Learning Resource Centre - A great place for studying!

The Learning Resources Centre gives students access to over 20,000 books, ebooks, and have the opportunity to study in a quiet environment with access to resources students do not have at home.

Services for Students

• help applying to university
• financial guidance

Media suite

The media suite offers a wide range of specialist state-of-the-art facilities and technical support to students on various media, music and performing arts courses. The suite includes:

• TV studio
• radio studio
• digital video editing suites
• music technology studio
• digital and analogue music recording studio
• a range of audio-visual equipment

The College also has great links with a wide range of well-known employers in the industry.

Sports hall & fitness room

Most of the sport and recreation activities take place in the sports hall, which has changing and showering facilities. Within the sports hall is a recently updated and refurbished fitness room which offers a variety of exercise and fitness equipment such as a multi-gym, cardiovascular machinery and free weights. Everything you need to stay fit and healthy!

The Café

The Café is open during the day and offers a variety of hot and cold meals and snacks including meat, fish and vegetarian options.

Student union & Parliament

All students will automatically become members of the Student Union and will therefore participate in the election of a student parliament which organises events and campaigns on behalf of students.

Multi-faith Room

The College provides a multi-faith room for students of all beliefs.

Lounge

When not in class, you can relax with friends in the new lounge area. This is equipped with a plasma screen playing music, computers to browse the web and comfortable seating.

Disabled Facilities

We are a disability friendly college. We have fully accessible toilet facilities and well trained staff to support those with additional needs.

Art and Design Studio

Our top-floor art and design studio is flooded with natural light and designed to the specifications of art professionals. This is a place of creativity and invention where students have an opportunity to exhibit their work each year.

Social Learning Centre

Students can work in teams to resolve real employers’ problems and gain industry skills.

Stem Hub

We have exceptional facilities for science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). Our STEM centre consists of two floors in our Willow building where you will be taught in newly refurbished laboratories, IT suites and engineering workshops.

Latest Classroom Resources

All classrooms have interactive white boards allowing teachers to incorporate a range of resources in their teaching. Students have the option to use college computers and tablets, which are all connected to Wi-Fi internet and printers.
