Higher Education (HE)

Higher Education (HE) refers to courses at Level 4 and above within the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ) in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. These include:

  • Higher National Certificates (HNCs) – Level 4
  • Higher National Diplomas (HNDs) – Level 5
  • Foundation Degrees – Level 4 (Year 1) and Level 5 (Year 2)

HNCs, HNDs, and Foundation Degrees are equivalent to the first two years of a full Honours degree. They blend vocational and academic study and can often be “topped up” with an additional year at Level 6 to earn a full Honours degree.

Our Higher Education courses, delivered in partnership with the University of West London (UWL), give you the chance to enhance your academic and vocational skills while gaining specialist knowledge in your chosen field. The University of West London ranks 23rd out of 121 UK higher education institutions in the Guardian University Guide 2023. Tailored to meet employer needs, these programs can help you progress in your career, secure employment, or continue to further study, equipping you with the expertise to succeed in your industry

If these apply to you, an accounting course could be a great choice for you!

If you study full-time you may also be eligible to receive a maintenance loan and a grant to assist you with living costs.

You will only have to pay back your tuition fee loan once you are earning a minimum of £27,295. A student loan facility is available for HE courses. Further information can be found on the Gov website.

Our HE courses are more affordable than you think. Our HE courses are considerably less than if you were studying the same qualification at a university campus and you can apply for a tuition fee loan to cover your fees.
