Students Prepare for Work Experience with Engaging Pre-Placement Workshop

As the October mid-term break approaches, students gearing up for their upcoming work experience placements recently participated in an insightful pre-work experience workshop designed to help them understand the purpose and protocols of their placements.

The workshop, hosted on 13th October by Spark Charity, provided an essential overview of what students can expect during their time on placement, emphasising the importance of professionalism, communication, and making the most of this valuable opportunity. By setting clear expectations and discussing workplace etiquette, the session aimed to equip students with the confidence and knowledge they need to succeed.

Feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many students expressing increased enthusiasm and a better understanding of how their placements will impact their future career paths. This shift in mindset is crucial in helping students engage meaningfully with their work environments and gain practical skills.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Spark Charity, who have been an instrumental employer in supporting and facilitating work placement opportunities for our students over the past two years. Their continued collaboration has enriched the experience for many young learners and helped bridge the gap between education and the working world.

We look forward to seeing our students thrive during their placements this October and are grateful to all who contribute to making these opportunities possible.
