Soaring with British Airways

Our students were excited to attend an inspiring apprenticeship session with Hollie Burton, Emerging Talent Student Outreach Manager at British Airways. Hollie shared valuable insights into the diverse apprenticeship opportunities and career pathways offered by one of the world’s leading airlines.

The timing couldn’t have been better as British Airways have opened their highly sought-after apprenticeship applications on 3rd November. Just a few days later, on 6th November, we had the incredible opportunity to host them right here at our College.

Hollie’s session gave students a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to build a career with BA, from engineering and operations to customer service and digital innovation. She also shared top tips for applying, what makes a standout candidate, and how apprenticeships can open doors to exciting global opportunities.

The excitement continues! In February 2026, we will be taking 60 students to British Airways for an exclusive taster day. During this visit, our students will meet current BA apprentices, experience the working environment first-hand, and immerse themselves in real-life activities that showcase the incredible range of careers available within the airline.

Our students are truly inspired and ready to soar. We’re proud to be working closely with British Airways to open up these opportunities, and we can’t wait to see where this journey takes our future apprentices!
