Shaping Futures: Building Skills Through Employer Collaboration

Stanmore College Employer Engagement Forum had the pleasure of hosting an Employer Network Lunch

On 25th April, we hosted our Employer Engagement Forum Network Lunch, a dynamic and collaborative event focused on one key goal: ensuring our students develop the right skills for the modern workforce.

We brought together employers, educators, Director of faculty, careers lead, and our Work Placement Team for focused discussions on CVs, curriculum planning, and the teaching of employability skills. The insights shared were inspiring, practical, and thought-provoking, and we’re committed to putting ideas into action.

A special thanks to our esteemed speakers, Dexter Moscow and Phil Burns, whose expert guidance helped shape our approach to building an engaging, enlightening, and an entertaining employability skills programme.

We were also proud to celebrate two outstanding students who completed their T Level placements with Edgware Associates. The glowing feedback they received from their employer was a true testament to their hard work and potential.

Our Work Experience Team would like to extend a big thank you to all our employers and staff who continue to invest in the future of our students, your support is shaping tomorrow’s workforce.
