Progress from Above!
Significant progress is being made on the major redevelopment of Stanmore College, with phase one of the transformation now well underway. The new buildings are beginning to take shape, marking a major milestone in the project that will deliver a modern, sustainable learning environment for students and staff.
Recent drone footage has captured the scale and ambition of the works, showcasing the impressive pace of construction on site. The second floor of the new structure is now nearing completion, and the build continues to advance.
Currently, work is focused on completing the floors and walls that form part of the superstructure. With the concrete now curing, the removal of the temporary wooden supports is expected shortly. The structure itself remains on track for completion by the end of May.
In parallel, preparations are in place to bring the new substation online. Once operational, it will provide essential power to Blocks A and B — an important step in keeping the wider project moving forward.
As we move further into 2025, anticipation continues to build. This is a transformative moment for Stanmore College, and we look forward to sharing more updates as the new campus takes shape.
