New T Level Course in Construction Launched at Stanmore College in Partnership with Bouygues UK

Stanmore College is proud to announce the launch of a brand-new T Level in Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction, delivered in collaboration with Bouygues UK, one of the UK’s leading construction companies.

This exciting new course gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a global construction leader while studying a cutting-edge curriculum designed to prepare them for a thriving career in the construction industry.

As part of the T Level programme, every student will complete a high-quality industry placement with Bouygues UK, working alongside professionals on real projects and gaining a deep understanding of how the sector operates day-to-day. This isn’t just learning from textbooks, it’s about stepping onto real sites, solving real challenges, and building real skills.

Bouygues UK, part of the global Bouygues Construction group, delivers sustainable, community-focused projects across housing, education, healthcare and more. The company is also currently building Stanmore College’s new state-of-the-art campus, making this partnership even more relevant and inspiring for students.

“This is a unique opportunity for young people to study at a college where the construction of the new campus is being led by the very company they’ll be working with on placement,” said Ruhina Mehdi, our Work Experience and Industry Team Leader. “It’s a powerful way to connect classroom learning to real-world experience, and we’re thrilled to offer it.”

The T Level in Design, Surveying and Planning for Construction is ideal for students passionate about engineering, design, construction management, or the built environment. With a blend of academic study and hands-on learning, it offers the perfect springboard into apprenticeships, university, or direct employment in the construction sector.
