Inspiring start to T Level Construction with Bouygues UK

We were delighted to welcome Paula Arkell-Waller from Bouygues UK to officially kick-start the year with our T Level Construction – Design, Surveying and Planning students.

On 3rd September, Paula delivered an engaging session, offering students a valuable overview of their upcoming industry placement schedule, and walking them through stages of the course programme. Her insight into the professional construction world helped to bring the T Level curriculum to life, linking classroom learning with real-world application.

Students had the opportunity to ask Paula questions about career routes after T Levels, gaining first-hand advice from someone deeply involved in the sector. From apprenticeship pathways to university options and long-term career development, Paula’s visit provided clarity and inspiration.

Students were also briefed on how their industry placement will be delivered, and how this can enhance both their skills and future employability in the construction and built environment sector.
