Amazon Launches 100 T Level Placements for 2026/27

Stanmore College strengthens industry links as Amazon unveils new opportunities for T Level students, creating clear progression routes into apprenticeships and global careers.

Ruhina Mehdi, Work Placement Coordinator and Industry Leader at Stanmore College, recently attended the official launch of 100 T Level placements for the 2026/2027 academic year at Amazon’s Liverpool Street office in London.

The event brought together members of the Amazon Careers Team, current placement students, partner colleges, and young people who have successfully progressed into apprenticeships following their T Level placements. It was inspiring to see clear, tangible progression pathways in action, demonstrating how high-quality industry placements can open doors to long-term careers.

Attendees gained valuable insight into Amazon’s structured and forward-thinking approach to youth development. Alongside the T Level placements, Amazon also introduced a three-week project programme designed to support students who may not secure a full placement. This alternative pathway ensures more young people can access meaningful industry experience, develop essential employability skills, and build confidence within a global organisation.

A highlight of the event was hearing directly from students who have progressed from T Level placements into apprenticeships. Their experiences powerfully illustrated the impact of strong industry partnerships and the importance of preparing students to thrive in professional environments.

Stanmore College looks forward to supporting students in applying for these exciting opportunities. Placements of this calibre not only strengthen technical knowledge but also expand professional networks, enhance career insight, and raise aspirations.

Special thanks to Jo Simovic, Senior Programme Manager | EMEA Youth Programmes at Amazon, for hosting such a well-organised and impactful event.
