I am grateful to the College for the opportunity to explore what I enjoy most, writing self-reflections on Blogger, and developing my photography skills. The course has allowed me to discover and refine my creative abilities while making my work truly my own. I chose Stanmore College because it offered T Levels, as I knew A Levels weren’t the right path for me. I really liked the structure of the programme and was impressed by the College’s strong connections with employers, which gave me excellent work placement opportunities. Stanmore gave me plenty of opportunities, and I made the most of every single one. During my six months working with a solicitor, I learned a lot about property law and gained valuable insight into workplace culture. The experience taught me the importance of good work habits, routines, and professionalism. I’ve now secured a place at university to study Business with a focus on Supply Chain Management.

“I’m studying the UAL Creative Practice Level 3 Art and Design course, along with an Extended Project Qualification, which I’m really enjoying. I chose Stanmore College because it’s the most convenient location for me, but also because of the amazing facilities in the Art department. They’ve given me the chance to work with new mediums and equipment I hadn’t used before. When I attended the open days, I felt like it was the right fit for me. The smaller class sizes mean I get more one-on-one time with my teachers, which really helps. Overall, the course is going well. I get to spend more time doing what I love, art, and I’m building a strong portfolio to help me get into my chosen university. My goal is to study at a UAL university, and since Stanmore runs UAL courses, they’re closely connected to those universities. We even get visits from specialist course speakers who share valuable advice. It’s a great College, and I’m glad I chose it!”

I found that the work I did at Stanmore College, along with my work placement, not only helped me achieve my Level 3 Childcare qualification, it also prepared me really well for university. I always knew I wanted to study Early Years, but my journey didn’t start in a straight line. I began with A levels, but soon realised I wanted a more direct and hands-on approach to learning. That’s when I made the switch to T Levels, and it was the best decision for me. The T Levels course gave me the practical experience and confidence I needed to pursue my dream of becoming a primary school teacher. My next step is to study Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status, and I couldn’t be more excited about it.
